Jordan Edward Walter

Jordan Edward Walter, 33, of Cambridge, died Friday (April 9, 2021) at his home.

He was born September 11, 1987 in Cambridge, son of Michael Alan Walter and Christy L. (Cobler) Walter.

Mr. Walter had worked at Guernsey Scrap and Metal for several years.

He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.  He was an avid outdoorsman.  He could light up a room with his positive and caring nature.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Carol Walter; and his maternal grandmother, Fonzie Marie Durben.

He is survived by his parents, Michael Walter and Christy Walter of Cambridge; three sisters, Fonzie Cobler of Cambridge, Cara Walter of Reynoldsburg, and Courtney Walter of Cambridge; his beloved nieces and nephews, Brooklyn Cobler, Brayden Cobler, Alexander Dovenbarger, Shane Mitchell, and Maddie Wright; a very special great-nephew, Javion Mayle; many other cousins and close friends; and his step-grandfather, Clifford Durben Jr. of Kimbolton.

Visitation will be held Friday (April 16, 2021) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Family and friends are welcome, but due to COVID-19, FACE COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED.  Please take all precautions to ensure your own safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend.

Burial will be at North Salem Cemetery.
