Joyce M. Antill, 79, of Cambridge, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Countryview Assisted Living.
She was born March 7, 1943, in Coshocton, daughter of the late Charles M. Wheeler and Laura Ann (Warne) Wheeler.
Mrs. Antill was a 1961 graduate of Ridgewood High School and worked as a substitute custodian for Cambridge City Schools for many years. She enjoyed working, tending to her animals and being outdoors, going to the pool, and spending time with her family and grandkids. Joyce was a huge fan of the Cambridge Bobcats.
She was a member of the Solid Rock Wesleyan Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry D. Antill, who died November 16, 2014; a sister, Carol Lane, a brother; Ron Wheeler, and a sister-in-law; Connie Roe.
She is survived by a son, Aubrey Arthur (Erika) Antill of Cambridge; a daughter, Jamie M. (Tom Jackson) Antill of Cambridge; one brother, Rich (& Lori) Wheeler of West Lafayette; two sisters, Pam Garbrandt of West Lafayette and Lynn Ann (Mark) Spang of Warsaw; seven grandchildren, Aubrey Antill, Alexa Antill, and Braidyn Jackson, Chandelle Ledwell, Kara Jackson, Jeremi Hill, and Kolton Tanner; and two great grandchildren, Aleanah Jackson and Jensen Jackson; and many nieces, nephews, and great friends.
Calling hours will be held Friday, January 27, 2023, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge, from 11AM-12PM, with the service to immediately follow with Pastor Ken Harper officiating.
