Karen Lee Jones

Karen Lee Jones, 77, of Dover, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Union Hospital.

Karen was born on December 26, 1947, in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Milford and Eva (Rogers) Cox.

Karen was a 1965 graduate of Meadowbrook High School and later worked for SEORMC in their medical records department. She was a member of Ester Circle and Broadway Global Methodist Church. She was a quiet, loving person.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Vicky Cox.

Karen is survived by her husband, John Jones, whom she married on September 4, 1971, her brother, William Cox of Xenia, her stepdaughter, Janet (Tim) Vangorden of Marion, three step-grandsons, two step-great grandchildren, and many good friends.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 11AM-1PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with the service to immediately follow with Pastor Corey Rowland officiating. Burial will follow at Old Washington Cemetery.
