Kathy/Mom/Mamaw was so much to all of us. Her kindness and compassion showed in everything that she did. She had a profound impact on so many in our community in her role as Director of Pastoral Care at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, where she served for 25 years, helping families through some of life’s most difficult times. She was truly a woman of faith. Kathy was a member of Christ Our Light Parish. Her grandkids were the light of her life and she especially enjoyed spending time with them and attending their athletic and school events.
Kathy was preceded in death by a son, Frank A. McClure, Jr. and a brother, George Miller.
In addition to her husband, Frank, she is survived by two daughters, Kelly McClure of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Melissa (Jamie) Wilson of Zanesville; grandchildren, Zac Wilson, Caitlyn Wilson and Christopher Wilson, and her dog Bailey.
Special thank you to the staff at The Oaks of Northpointe and Hospice of Central Ohio for caring for her.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 23, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge, with a service to immediately follow with Fr. Paul Hrezo officiating.
