Margaret Therese Holan

Margaret Therese (Vadja) Holan, 94, of Cambridge passed away Saturday (August 19, 2017) at her home.

She was born May 2, 1923 in Cleveland and was the daughter of the late Steven and Mary (Skutka) Vadja.

Mrs. Holan was employed with Met Life for 20 years, and was previously a seamstress for Richmond Brothers in Cleveland. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, and AFS society. Margaret enjoyed reading; gardening and was a former Girl Scout leader.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Thomas Holan; one brother Thomas Vadja; two sisters, Anne Burik and Helen Knapik.

She is survived by one son Christopher (Louise) Holan of Macedonia; one daughter Jackie Holan of Cambridge; three step grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren.

No calling hours or services will be observed. Burial will take place at a later date.
