Marion E. Speer

Marion E. Speer, 73, of Cambridge, died Sunday (January 17, 2021) at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.

She was born October 19, 1947 in Bridgeport CT, daughter of the late Andrew B. Mazek and Elizabeth "Betty" M. (Mayoros) Mazek.

Mrs. Speer had worked at The Ohio State University Medical Center as a critical care registered nurse for many years.

She was a member of Christ Our Light Parish.

She is survived by her husband, David C. Speer; three daughters, Heather Ann (John) Beavers of Pickerington, Alisha Erin Speer (Shane Novick) of Cambridge, and Caitlin Nicole (Chad) Lander of Cambridge; a brother, Michael A. (Cindi) Mazek of New Concord; and three grandchildren, Jazek Alexander Beavers, Cora Rose Lander, and Claire Elizabeth Lander.

Private services were held for the family.  Entombment followed at the Northwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Cambridge.

As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to one of the following organizations: 1) The Guernsey County Animal Shelter, 62824 Bennett Avenue, Cambridge OH 43725; or 2) St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
