Melba J. Hall, 74, of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the Embassy of Cambridge.

Melba was born on May 31, 1950, in Cambridge, a daughter of the late William and Betty (Williamson) Johnson.

Melba enjoyed baking, crafting, and fishing and was a member of Church of God Prophecy. She worked as a bartender and a waitress.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her great-grandson, Bobby McBlian Jr., and her grandson, Jessie Cox.

Melba is survived by her sons, Jonathan Hall and Jeremy Hall, both of Byesville, her daughters, Misty Johnson (Michael Jackson) and Tara (Lance) Sanders, both of Cambridge, two sisters, Cheryl (Mike) Freund of Cambridge and Leanna Unklesbay of Cambridge, her five grandchildren, Taylor, Nash, Kennedy, Kaitlin, and Dominic, many great grandchildren, her dog, Holden, and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 11AM-1PM at Church of God Prophecy, 6045 Fairdale Dr, Cambridge, OH 43725, with the service to immediately follow with Pastor Dale Martin officiating.
