Richard E Hewison

Richard Eugene Hewison, 78, of Cambridge went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2023. He was born July 25, 1945, in Cambridge, Ohio, son of the late Alfred and Ada Hewison.

He served in the US Army, retiring after 21 years of service. He was a Vietnam war veteran serving five tours.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death be three brothers and two sisters, Alfred (& Kay) Hewison, Linda (& Blair) Miller, Jim Klass, Dave (& Dorothy) Klass, and Marge (& Charles) Jones.

Richard is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Barbara (Black) Hewison, whom he married on June 1, 1967. Also left to cherish his memory are four daughters, Tina (& Ed) Wheeler, Ada (& Dave) Kunkle, April (& Jeremy) Nicholes, and Samantha (& Gerry) Meek, and several grandchildren and great- grandchildren,

No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services with military honors will be held at Guernsey Memory Gardens on Monday, August 28, 2023, at 1PM.  Captain Ed McMillen will be officiating.
