Robert Edward Totten

Robert E. Totten went peacefully at home with his family on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the age of 76.

He was born May 4, 1948, in Sharon, PA, the son of Robert A Totten and Anna L (Welch) Totten.

Robert proudly served in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Vietnam Era. In returning home, he worked for the New Concord Water Department and Muskingum College, and he retired from the Cambridge State Hospital after thirty years of service.

Robert is survived by his wife Sandra (Quillin) Totten of 38 years; daughters, Mary E Gosling of Tennessee and Kerry (Zac) Foreman of Caldwell; grandchildren, Chasita, Krista, Kirsta, Carah, Slade, and Axel and five great- grandchildren; a sister; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Thorn- Black Funeral Home in Cambridge on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 9AM to 11AM with services to follow at 11AM. Burial will follow at Guernsey County Memory Gardens.

The family would like to give a Special Thanks to all the Special People that touched Robert's life in his time of need. Family and Friends, the staff of SEORMC, the Astoria Place, and Hospice of Guernsey. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Robert's name to Hospice of Guernsey.
