Rodney “Rowdy” Dean, 51, of Newcomerstown, passed away June 7, 2022, at the home of his mom in Byesville, Ohio.
He was born March 20, 1971, in Cambridge, Ohio, a son of Beth (Joseph) Jones.
Rodney worked for KNS Contracting. He enjoyed hunting, especially going on the big hunt in Colorado with his buddies. He loved fishing, golfing and always had a project he was working on (normally fixing his truck). Rowdy enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, daughters, friends and his mother.
Rodney was preceded in death by his friend, Ed Ferdon.
He is survived by his mother, Beth Jones, three daughters, Kelsey (Caleb) Rogers of Cambridge, Kylee Dean of here and there, and Keyera Dean of Crestview Florida, his grandchildren, Kinley and Kason, his two bonus grandchildren, Mason and Milo, his sister, Hollie McCune of Pleasant City, and his three closest friends, Gary Quillin, Brian Moss, and Mike Smith.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 13, 2022, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge.
