Ronald Thomas Trott 74, passed, away Thursday, August 25, 2022, at his home in Lore City.
Ronald was born July 6, 1948, in Canton, Ohio, a son to the late William and Margaret (Davis) Trott.
Mr. Trott was a Steel Alloy Worker for Shield Alloy before he retired. Before working at Shield Alloy, Ronald was a member of the United States Army from January 16, 1968, to January 15, 1970, before he was honorably discharged. He loved to turkey hunt and golf. Ronald loved his family and took care of everyone. Ronald also loved to garden and socialize with his friends.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, his partner in life Tillie Barnes, his sister, Amy Tucker, his brothers-in-law, Clarence Wray, Larry Williams, and Bruce Frazier, and his sister-in-law Connie Trott.
He is survived by his three daughters, Veronica (Mark) Touvell of Lore City, Joanna Trott of Columbus, and Sunshine (Dusty Bates) Gueye of Byesville. Also left to cherish his memory are his four sisters, Kathy Wray of Buffalo, Marsha Williams of Massillon, Pam Trott of Cambridge, and Peggy (Rick) Khune of Cambridge, his brother, Fred Trott of Senecaville and his three grandchildren, Aaron (Joe) Arnold-Pierce, Winter Crews, and Saliou Gueye.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 11:00AM-1:00PM, with the service to immediately follow at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge. Pastor Mark Slay will be officiating.
