Rose Mary McCoy, 78, born the 16th of May 1944, began her heavenly life on the 28th of April 2023,
Graduating class of 1962, from Old Byesville High, she was employed thereafter with the Beverly Shop, Sears, proud owner of the Pilgrim Shoppe/The Front Room; thus, retiring in2022 as The Pastor of The Midway Church of God.
Rose Mary enjoyed crafts, painting, and crocheting.
Rose Mary (Dyer) married Robert G. McCoy Jr. on December 19, 1965, sharing 57 years of cherished love and heartfelt memories together.
She presently remains in the hearts of her husband, Robert G. McCoy Jr., sons Robert J. McCoy (Brent Phipps), David M. McCoy (Michael Grubbs), brothers David L. Dyer of Cambridge, David Daniels of Cambridge, Michael Duff of NC, and Ed Roberts of Byesville, and a sister, Dorene Hughes (John Finwick) of Byesville.
Previously in their hearts were her parents, Joe and Irene (Slasor) Dyer, her brothers, Earl Dyer, Don Walters, Thomas Walters, Donald Larrick, and Tommy Gheen, her sister, Betty Jane May, grandmother, Helen Dyer, and mother-in-law, Vera McCoy.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 11AM until the time of the service at 1PM, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge, with a burial to follow at Guernsey Memory Gardens.
