Sue (Olnhausen) Cady, 54, of Coshocton, Ohio passed away peacefully after a short illness on Friday, August 26, 2022.
She was born in Cambridge, Ohio, on November 17, 1967, a daughter of Karl and Shirley (Meighen) Olnhausen.
In addition to her loving and devoted husband of 26 years, Tim Cady, she is survived by her parents, Karl and Shirley Olnhausen; mother and father-in-law, Connie and Wayne Albaugh; sister, Jill (Mark) Hickman; brother, Fritz (Wendy) Olnhausen; sister-in-law, Nicole (Toby) Angler; brothers-in-law, Lance (Tracy) Cady and Craig (Sue) Cady. She also leaves one nephew, Ben Olnhausen; nieces, Kaci (Chad) Kinnan, Heidi (J.T.) Geren, Arikah (Garret) Chrislip, and Ashlie Cady; numerous great-nieces and nephews who she doted on lovingly.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, R.H. and Bertha Olnhausen and Harold and Mildred Meighen; two beloved nieces, Amie Kirk and Karly Eldredge; and a special fur baby, Oliver.
As a child, Sue was so full of energy. That energy carried over into the many activities she was involved in during her youth and through her high school years. She graduated from Cambridge High School and attended The Ohio State University. Sue had a great work ethic and a spunky personality that attracted many friends throughout the years. It is no surprise she met the love of her life while at work. They went on to manage the Plus One Pizza Shop in Coshocton together for many years. She was loved and respected by her co-workers. In addition to being a huge Ohio State fan, Sue was passionate about all animals including her rescue daschund, Willie “Bill.”
Her most significant role in life was being a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who cared deeply for those she loved. While she will be sorrowfully missed, we feel grateful to have shared our life with a person who was as beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside.
Private services for the family are being planned at a later date. The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, those who would like to contribute to the memory of Sue consider donating to the following organizations:
