Tammy Anne Cross

Tammy Anne (Carpenter) Cross, 63, of Quaker City, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

She was born on June 16, 1959, daughter of the late Charles “Mike” Carpenter and Icel (Lucas) Carpenter.

Tammy was a 1977 graduate of Zane Trace High School and member of the Kipling VFW Auxiliary.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, gardening, flowers, music and dancing.

She is survived by a son, Brandon (& Heather) Gardine of Quaker City, a daughter; Brittany Daniel of La Porte, IN, a brother; Ray (& Nancy) Lucas of Quaker City, three sisters; Debbie McCoy of Old Washington, Christine (& Bruce) Glover of Quaker City, Monna (& Tim) Foraker of Cambridge, four grandchildren; Allyana Daniel, Boston Gardine, Josh Gardine, Amber Gardine; her fiancé, Bryan King; two very special friends, Sherri Flesher and Susie Stephens, many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Thorn-Black Funeral Home in Quaker City from 4pm to 6pm with the funeral service immediately following the visitation at 6pm, Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. There will be a gathering at the Kipling VFW following the service.
