Thomas William Pontius

Thomas William Pontius, 62, of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024.

Tom was born December 4, 1961, a son of the late John and Betty (Davis) Pontius. Tom enjoyed fishing, taking long drives down country roads and being in nature.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jo Williams- Pontius, his granddaughter Staci Dawn Taylor, and his great grandson, Mason Reasoner.

Tom is survived by his sons, Jason (& Nikki) Williams of Cambridge, Keith Landaker of Cambridge, Jerry (& Jess) Williams of Cambridge, Kevin (& Traci) Landaker of Cambridge, Eddie Williams of Cambridge, and Brad Pontius of Byesville; his daughters, Pegi (& John Hudson) Hood of Cambridge and Alicia (& Jason) Clift of Caldwell; his brother, Dave (& Roxie) Pontius of Shelbyville, KY; his sisters, Judy Stevens of Cambridge, Rita (& Jody) Reed of Trinway, Becky (& John) McCall of New Concord, Joyce (& Eugene) Eddy of Kentucky, Ellen (& Mark) Pruitt of Oklahoma, and Nancy (& Sam) Jeffery of Cambridge. He will also be missed by several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, along with his dogs, Mya and Everest.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 4PM to 6PM at Thorn- Black Funeral Home in Cambridge. Burial will take place at Northwood Cemetery at a later date.
