Veron Dailey ,68, of Cambridge, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 15, 2023, at Embassy of Cambridge.
Veron Dailey, affectionately known as Rocket, was born October 15, 1955, in Ballard’s Valley, St Elizabeth Jamaica, a son of the late Pearline Nephew and Alexander Dailey. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Goldwin Johnson of Jamaica.
Veron was a graduate of Monroe College in St Elizabeth, Jamaica, and served in the Jamaica Defense Force. He was Aviation Firefighter at Kingston Airport in Jamaica and was also employed at Ohio Bridge in Cambridge, Ohio.
Veron is survived by two sons, Creshane Daley of Jamaica, and Andre Dailey of Virginia, four daughters, Natalia Daley, Jheaneal Dailey and Brianna Dailey of Jamaica and Tantya Dailey of England.
Also left to cherish his memories are his five brothers, Keith Johnson, James Stephenson, Linval Daley, Jermey Daley, and Mark Daley of Jamaica, four sisters, Elvera Bent and Jennifer Daley of England, Annette Dawn Daley of Jamaica and Jenny Stephenson of Cambridge, Ohio, thirteen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and great grand nieces and nephews, and his special friends, Sharon and Ronnie Graham of Cambridge, Ohio.
Graveside service and burial will be held on Friday November 24, 2023, at Northwood Cemetery at 1 PM with Oral Campbell (OC) officiating.
